Class Description and Topics
Level I Overview
The goal of instruction at this beginning level is to help each participant understand the miraculous design and function of the fascial tissue (the transparent covering over every muscle, organ and bone in the body) and to learn how to “listen” to the subtle (and sometimes not so subtle) communication cues emitted by the client’s body. Participants activate their right brain and quiet the analytical left brain by performing didactic communication exercises that encourage partners to lead and to follow self-directed movements until their energy fields’ blend in a vibrational dance of symmetry and balance. Molecules of emotion are released as each participant begins their own journey toward balance and harmony.
Students will complete Level I with the knowledge and skills necessary to facilitate a myofascial release of the client’s pelvis, lower extremities, torso, upper extremities and spinal canal.
Level II Overview
This level of training provides each participant with the knowledge of cranial anatomy necessary to combine a craniosacral protocol with the myofascial techniques they recently mastered in the Level I class. Each participant will create a skull on a balloon to be used as their first tactile experience in utilizing the cranial bones as handles to release the dural membranes and restore balance to the nervous system. Working from inanimate to live subjects, each participant will learn to balance the craniosacral system both with the client seated and supine.
This class will also introduce the concept of balancing the charka system so that every organ of the body receives the energy needed to function at his/her optimum potential.
Level III Overview
Workshop participants, who now have the necessary skills to help an adult achieve a state of physical and emotional balance, will now focus their intent on the prevention of trauma related to the birth process.
The goal of this workshop is to share with the attendees’ skills and knowledge I have acquired over 20 years of attending more than 700 births and treating pregnant women and children. Participants will be able to perform and teach techniques that have been effective in stopping premature contractions, resolving pain during pregnancy, restoring balance in a woman’s pregnant body, preventing back labor and dystocia (arrested labor) and finally by treating a newborn or child who suffered during the birth process.
Level IV Overview
Now that workshop participant have mastered the ability to balance the gross muscles of the body via the arms, legs, torso, spinal muscles and the neuro-cranium via the cranial bones and dura mater, we will focus on balancing the visero-cranium by using the facial bones to restore balance to the structures of the face and mouth.
Many people deal with chronic emotional and physical pain due to facial trauma, sexual abuse and dental work. This class helps each participant address these deep-seated emotional and physical issues, while learning to help their clients find peace and harmony throughout their entire body.
